Increase in the competitiveness of the company and the opportunity to develop in new markets through the implementation of an innovative production technology for flow machine components made of new generation construction materials with a high content of nickel, chromium and titanium
In 2017, Zakłady Mechaniczne WIROMET Spółka Akcyjna, within the framework of the Regional Operational Programme of the Silesian Voivodeship for 2014-2020, implemented the project ?Increase in the competitiveness of the company and the opportunity to develop in new markets through the implementation of an innovative production technology for flow machine components made of new generation construction materials with a high content of nickel, chromium and titanium?.
The main objective of the project was to develop the company through the implementation of innovative production technology, as a result of which it was possible to offer innovative and improved products on the market.
As a result of the implementation of the project in question, innovative production technology was implemented at ?WIROMET? S.A., a modern and technologically advanced 5-axis machining centre and work station were purchased, which made it possible to introduce new and improved products to the market in the form of gas turbine blades and steam turbine blades made from materials which are difficult to machine.
As a result of the project, new jobs were created and the implementation of the task had a positive impact on environmental protection and improved health and safety conditions.
The total value of the project, according to the signed agreement on co-financing, amounts to PLN 2,707,380.00, and the contribution from the European Regional Development Fund was set at an amount not exceeding PLN 947,100.00.
